HybridDash
Turns your phone and Android Auto screen into the dashboard your hybrid car doesn't show you: instant fuel consumption in km/l, hybrid battery charge, when the engine runs and when you drive electric.
What you see
Consumption in km/l
Instant and trip-average consumption, always in km/l. With the engine off you read «EV».
Hybrid battery
Battery charge and power, discharging and regenerating.
Engine
Warm-up stage (S0–S4), thermal power, rpm and the share of the trip driven electric.
Temperatures
Engine coolant, oil and outside temperature.
End-of-trip summary
A notification with distance, average speed, km/l, litres used, EV share and battery state.
Exportable trips
Trips are saved on your phone and you can export them to CSV any time.
On Android Auto
A clear, readable grid of values, designed not to distract you from driving. You choose which values to show: 12 positions with pages.
Free trial & lifetime unlock (in-app purchase)
3-day or 10-trip free trial with all features. Then a single lifetime purchase (€5.99) permanently unlocks full telemetry and automatic door locks.
What you need
- A Toyota hybrid. Developed and tested on the Toyota C-HR Hybrid; other recent Toyota hybrids may partially work.
- A Bluetooth OBD-II adapter (vLinker FD+ or FS with STN chip recommended). Cheap ELM327 clones often don't work.
- An Android 8 or later phone.
Compatibility
- Toyota C-HR Hybrid: every feature works. Tested on a 2021 model; other model years should work too.
- Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid: the dashboard works, but door lock control doesn't, so automatic door locks can't be used.
- Toyota Yaris Hybrid: the dashboard should work as on the Yaris Cross, but hasn't been fully tested yet; automatic door locks most likely don't work.
- Cars on the same platform as the C-HR (GA-C): should work, but not tested yet. For example Corolla Hybrid 2019–2022, 4th-generation Prius (2016–2022), Lexus UX 250h.
